Institute for Post Graduate Teaching & Research in Ayurveda (IPGT &RA) is an integral part of Gujarat Ayurved University, offers Post Graduate and PhD levels of education in Ayurveda, Ayurvedic Pharmacy and Medicinal Plants. This Institute was established by Govt. of India in 1952 as a research centre at first and later PG education was started in 1956. Till date more than 1550 Post Graduates and 220 Ph.D. degrees have been awarded by this Institute.
